In this project, the design and implementation of the air conditioning system of the PET Scan Center of Golestan Hospital, Ahvaz, has been carried out with the aim of providing stable thermal comfort conditions, accurate operation of sensitive medical equipment, and optimal control of energy consumption. Given the sensitive nature of medical imaging spaces and the need for accurate temperature and humidity control, a combination of outdoor and indoor unit devices has been used.
The outdoor units installed in the project include
1 Lenzor brand VRF outdoor unit with a capacity of 61.5 kW
2 Lenzor brand VRF outdoor units with a capacity of 33.5 kW each
1 Lenzor brand VRF outdoor unit with a capacity of 28 kW
1 Media Package Rooftop unit with a capacity of 20 tons of refrigeration
These equipments have been installed and commissioned with precise engineering design and considering the required capacity of each section to provide reliable and quiet operation.
The indoor units used in the project are:
2 indoor ducted units 14 kW
2 indoor ducted units 10 kW
3 indoor ducted units 5.6 kW
5 indoor ducted units 3.6 kW
4 four-way cassette indoor units 10 kW
1 wall-mounted indoor unit 5 kW
Other project implementation operations
In the implementation of this project, the air ducting system was designed and installed using pre-insulated channels with standard thickness and density. In addition to being light in weight and quick to install, these channels have effective thermal and acoustic insulation that prevent energy loss, vibration, and sound transmission.
The air produced by the indoor units, after passing through filters and adjusting temperature and humidity, is transferred to various points of the PET Scan Center through these channels. In this way, air with the exact desired temperature and humidity is uniformly injected into treatment spaces to provide stable and fully controlled conditions for the operation of medical imaging equipment.
